Diploma | High School Completion

Our Adult High School Completion programs are free to all Maine residents, 17 and older, who are no longer enrolled in school. Call our office at (207) 873-5754 or email adulted@watervillek12.org to schedule an intake meeting. Our team will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. For current high school students seeking credit recovery, please contact your guidance department for a referral.

Structured Enrollment, Must register before 2nd week in September.

Placement into the program is done after pre-assessment (CASAS®) and registration. Our Academic Student Coordinator will work with you to determine the best schedule and credits. MMRACE offers a twenty-two(22) credit Adult Secondary Diploma. These credits are in specified subject areas. Our staff and instructors work with you to develop a personal learning plan that works for you. We consider previous credits earned when creating your customized learning plan.


Classes offer small-group sizes and meet during a variety of times throughout the week — day and evening. We offer a variety of academic courses for adult learners to earn credits towards their High School Diploma.


ASD Details: Core requirements for the Adult Secondary Diploma: English Language Arts (4 Credits), Mathematics (3 Credits), Science (2 Credits), Digital Literacy (1 Credit), United States History (1 Credit), Civics/Government (1 Credit), Social Studies (1 Credit), Electives (8 Credits).
